The Department of Management at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Strategic Management for an appointment beginning 7/1/2023. The selected individual will actively engage in research, mentoring PhD students, and teach strategic management at the undergraduate level and a PhD seminar in a related area (preferably entrepreneurship). The University of Nevada, Reno is a Carnegie R1 (Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity) institution.  Hiring is subject to budgetary approval.

Grants-in-aid 

The University is proud to provide a reduced-rate tuition benefit to faculty and qualified dependents. Faculty can take up to six credits per semester at a reduced rate. Department Information

The Management area consists of full-time members who work in a collaborative and collegial environment.  Our faculty conduct high quality research and publish in Management’s best journals. In addition to teaching in our PhD program and mentoring students, Management faculty also actively participate in the MBA and online EMBA programs and take pride in being excellent in the classroom.
