The Area of Management in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University (TTU) is accepting applications for two faculty positions for Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice (non-tenure track, continuing appointment), to begin in Fall 2023. We are seeking candidates with a background in management with teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level, in both face to face and online formats. Salary and benefits are highly competitive and include financial support for professional development and conference travel. Professional engagement and/or research is required to maintain Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) qualification.
Each semester, the individual’s primary teaching assignment will be three undergraduate courses in management. Additional courses for additional compensation are a possibility. Additional duties will include Area, College, and/or University service, program building, as well as commitment to extra? curricular activities.

Area of Management
The Area currently has over 25 faculty members and 12 doctoral students, who publish research in top journals in the field and are award winning subject matter experts in diversity, entrepreneurship, family business, human resource management, leadership, organizational behavior, organization theory, and strategic management. The Area takes pride in teaching excellence, and faculty members have been awarded various teaching awards.
Rawls College of Business
The Rawls College of Business is AACSB accredited, and offers BBA degrees with majors in accounting, energy commerce, finance, information technology, management, marketing, and supply chain management. Several MBA programs are offered. First, a Professional MBA hybrid program is offered for students who wish to remain employed full-time; classes are offered one weekend per month in three locations in Texas: Lubbock, Dallas, Houston, and the Austin area, as well as an online MBA. A third MBA program is specifically designed for students with undergraduate degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Finally, the College offers a number of Dual Degree MBA programs. We also offer MS degrees in accounting, data science, finance, and marketing research & analytics. A Ph.D. in business administration is offered with tracks in accounting, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing. We have around 75 tenure track faculty and 60 non-tenure-track faculty. The College has more than 5,000 undergraduate students and 1,000 graduate students.

Required Qualifications
A master's degree in the discipline or the substantiated equivalent in professional experience of ten years or more.
Preferred Qualifications
A doctorate in management, or a terminal degree in a related field. Experience should include classroom instruction and scholarly or practitioner research or extensive practice in management (broadly defined). All candidates shall maintain currency as scholarly academic or practice academic under the AASCB international standards.
