The School of Business and Management of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST Business School) is seeking a senior academic for the post of Head and Professor of Management at the rank of Full Professor.

It comprises a collegial and diverse group of faculty members regularly publishing in leading journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Applied Psychology, among others. The research output has been ranked as first in Asia, and 33rd in the world by the 2018-2022 UTD ranking. The department offers high-quality programs at the undergraduate, MSc, and PhD levels.

The Role
Reporting to the Dean of Business and Management, the Head and Professor of Management is expected to provide leadership and manage the Department of Management in its diverse academic and administrative functions. Applications/nominations for the position are invited from well-qualified and accomplished scholars. A qualified candidate is expected to have an outstanding academic record in a major field of management, an international research reputation, and some relevant administrative experience.

Terms & Applications/Nominations:
The appointment will be concurrent with a substantive professorial appointment. Upon completion of the headship term, the appointee is expected to continue to commit to the long-term development of the Department.
