The preferred start date for the position is Summer 2024. An earned doctorate in management or a closely related business field from a regionally accredited institution is strongly preferred; though candidates who are ABD or have earned a master’s degree will be considered. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level is also preferred. Exceptionally well-qualified candidates with teaching and sports industry related experience will be considered for appointment at an advanced rank (associate or full professor). We are seeking a faculty member who is committed to teaching excellence in the field of quantitative management. This role includes teaching courses in business statistics and data analysis, supporting the Supply Chain Management and Sports Management programs, and advising undergraduate students. Faculty could have a potential teaching schedule that includes undergraduate and graduate classes offered at the main campus, the Greenville, SC campus, and online. Those with industry experience, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and an interest in quantitative management courses are encouraged to apply.
