The Mario J. Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University, Bristol RI, invites applications for a tenure-track position in management at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2024. Responsibilities include teaching data analytics with a secondary area of interest in teaching operations management or global supply chain management. The individual hired will be expected to provide excellence in teaching, advise students, and maintain a high level of professional activity through quality research and service.
Candidates should have an established record or demonstrated strong potential for high-quality, innovative teaching and research, including publishing in appropriate, quality peer-reviewed journals. Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in business administration from an AACSB accredited institution, with a specialization in data analytics, management science, or another highly relevant field of study. Candidates who are ABD will be considered, but the doctoral degree must be in hand by the time the appointment begins, which is August 2024. Business experience is a plus.
At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
