The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is $150,000 - $173,000, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation for this position. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.

We invite applications for an Assistant Professor tenure-track position in the Management Area. For the first year of this position, the successful candidate will also hold the title of Provost’s Distinguished Faculty Fellow and will have no teaching and service responsibilities to allow a focus on research while receiving mentorship and support from two senior faculty members.

We welcome micro-, meso- and macro-level OB candidates. Additional qualifications include the demonstration of a commitment to academic excellence and diversity, equity, and inclusion in their teaching/mentoring, research, and/or service. Current faculty conduct a wide range of research on topics broadly construed as principled leadership to inform issues impacting the future of work, including equity, inclusion, innovation, and transformation (https://msb.georgetown.edu/faculty-research/management/). It is our expectation that the successful candidate will be someone with demonstrated experience publishing in top academic journals and teaching effectively and will have received a PhD by August 1, 2025.
ABOUT THE PROVOST’S DISTINGUISHED FACULTY FELLOWS PROGRAM
The Provost’s Distinguished Faculty Fellowship program is in its second year at Georgetown University. This program is designed to bring in a cohort of new faculty from a wide range of backgrounds who demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Provost’s Distinguished Fellows are on the tenure track and will be exempt from teaching and service duties in the first year of their appointments and will devote their full-time effort to building their research program.
