The Strategy & Statistics Area of the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University invites applications for a Tenure Track position in Strategy at the level of Assistant Professor beginning in Fall 2025. The ideal candidate should have strong research skills, and must have a Ph.D. or be close to completing a Ph.D. by August 2025 in Strategy or closely related discipline.
Area Faculty engage in research across a wide variety of topics (alliances, environmental strategy, healthcare, innovation, judgment & decision-making, and M&As) and methodologies (AI/ML, econometrics/statistics, formal modelling, lab/field experimentation, and qualitative methods). Strategy faculty members include: Navid Asgari, Benjamin M. Cole, Eun-Hee Kim, Yang Liu, Alex B. Markle, and Falguni Sen.
Located in New York City, the Gabelli School of Business offers a variety of programs of international distinction for students and practitioners of global business, including three MBA programs, a suite of specialty MS programs, and two undergraduate business programs. The Gabelli School of Business is accredited by the AACSB.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $175,000 (summer support - separate). Fordham University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Hiring is subject to final budgetary approval.
The Area will begin reviewing applications on September 16, 2024, and the search will continue until the position is filled.
The candidate must have a strong commitment to research and teaching; experience in teaching at either the undergraduate or graduate level is a plus.
