New Mexico State University's Department of Management seeks candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in Entrepreneurship or Strategy at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates will be expected to conduct high-quality research and work with doctoral students in the Department's PhD program. The position targets new PhDs seeking their initial Tenure Track appointment, early career Assistant Professors, and faculty currently at the rank of Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to applicants with research and teaching experience in Entrepreneurship or Strategy. This position will start on August 18, 2025. Applicants must possess an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution in Management, or doctorate in a closely related discipline to Entrepreneurship or Strategy by the date of hire. Candidates should have demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication, and competency to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and staff. Applicants should have experience in classroom teaching, with demonstrated teaching effectiveness. Candidates must also have a solid record of scholarly research publication, or the promise of publication (i.e., for new PhDs), commensurate with their career level and requisite experience in the academic profession. Motivation to pursue external research funding and work on multidisciplinary teams is desirable.
